Being one year postgrad and working in my industry I can say that starting out I did not speak up for myself enough. It was very interesting to go from being in a society where I was looked at as the “senior” and most experienced to basically being the “freshman” and having to ask for guidance every step along the way. I would say that being in a new society has taught me to be okay with asking first help so that I can learn the organizations culture and policies. ASK for help folks!
